  EMS COMMISSIONER ADVISORY GROUP  
     
 

It is the mission of the California Ambulance Association to develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with organizations and agencies addressing issues related to the medical transportation industry in California.
Currently the association maintains formal liaison relationships with the following organizations: Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), California Highway Patrol (CHP), California Occupational Safety & Health Administration (CAL-OSHA), Office of Emergency Services (OES), State Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), State Fund Workers Compensation Group, and the Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC).
In addition we have developed informal relationships with the following: County Supervisors Association of California (CSAC); Emergency Medical Services Administrators of California (EMSAC) and Emergency Medical Directors Association of California (EMDAC).

OBJECTIVES

  1. Continue CAA liaison with other EMS organizations and related agencies.
  2. Obtain appointment to EMS Commission.
