The Legislative & Agency Relations Committee mission is to pro-actively develop, monitor and address legislation and regulations which impact the industry. The committee is further charged with aiding the association's legislative advocate in representing the association within the Executive, Legislative, and Administrative branches of state government.

COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES

1. Advocate for a Medi-Cal rate increase for ambulance transportation services that is tied to the Medicare Fee Schedule including payment, coverage and billing policies
2. Advocate for repeal of limiting reimbursement for worker's compensation currently contain within Title 8 California Code of Regulations.
3. Identify legislative bills that are relevant to the industry and take positions on each bill.
