The Payer Issues Committee addresses reimbursement challenges and strengthens communication between CAA members and key payer entities, including CMS, Noridian, DHCS, Medi-Cal intermediaries, CPHCS, and Managed Care Organizations. Comprised of billing and reimbursement specialists, revenue cycle leaders, compliance officers, operational executives, and other reimbursement experts representing a range of agency sizes and perspectives, the committee facilitates information exchange, supports problem-solving, and keeps members informed on critical reimbursement issues impacting the ambulance industry. The Payer Issues Committee meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month @ 2:30 PM, with scheduling adjustments as needed. Contact: [email protected] |
