QAF/GEMT Toolkit

After months of hard work, we are pleased to announce that the QAF/GEMT Toolkit is now available for FREE to CAA members (members click here to download). Those who are not members of the CAA are welcome to purchase the toolkit for $499. The toolkit provides the information that an ambulance provider needs to understand the "why" behind the program and provides detailed information on important items such as an overview of SB 523, specifics on how to report transport data, payment of the QAF, Fee-for-Service Payments, detailed information on Medi-Cal Managed Care, disputes with Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans and audits & other post-payment procedures. The toolkit also provides three essential sample letters to help a provider appeal for a non payment by a Medi-Cal Managed Care provider.
