Payer Issues Committee

The mission of the Payer Issues Committee is to address issues and facilitate the exchange of information related to ambulance reimbursement. The committee is responsible to develop and maintain liaison with the agencies and entities associated with ambulance reimbursement including, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Medicare Carrier (Noridian), the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), the Med-Cal intermediary (Xerox); the California Prison Health Care Services (CPHCS), Managed Care Organizations and other payers, as appropriate.

The Payer Issues Committee meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 9:30am.
